Tail Slider & D' Magic Treats & "finished" CE-RX

Got a little order of parts in from Tail Slider and R'Wing / D'magic

Got the TS ZEON front brace as there are clearance issues with the knuckle tie rod once you run the aftermarket steering wiper these curve the other way to give you a heap more clearance.

And picked up the TS spur holder for no reason other than i like it haha

Got the D'Magic light bucket set for a S14 project

And a wing for my 180SX project

All the re-anodized parts are fitted to the CE-RX now so it's pretty much how i want it now

The red isn't a perfect match but close enough happy with how this servo horn turned out seeing it was Tamiya blue after a de-anodize and polish it came up nice .

Thanks to Ando @ Tetsujin for getting me the parts

Kazama Parts Anodise

Went to my local anodisers today and luckily they do small batch jobs so looks like I'll be getting the Kazama knuckles C hubs and steering wiper redone in red. Just need to wait for the steering wiper to get here. I will probably strip the anodise off a blue servo horn I have and a few other small bits because there's a minimum fee and they said that it would cover the stuff I have 4 times over so pretty much can do as much stuff I can gather up for $50
These are the samples they have me left is matte finish and right is standard gloss finish that is uv stabilised.

Crimson Lightening Upgrades

So I've already bought upgrades for the CE-RX before it got here haha.
Picked up some Kazama 10 degree C hubs and knuckles apparently they don't do red anymore so i'm going to see if a place near my work will anodize these to match the rest of the red alloy for me, hopefully they will do small batch stuff, If not i'll just have to run silver. I'm thinking of picking up the Kazama steering wiper too and get that anodized at the same time. The CE-RX Shipped today so i should have it before our next meet, hopefully my second receiver turns up in time.
Few body updates to come in the next few days if i find some spare time.

Castor

I wanted to up the castor on the zeon so i have a back order placed for Kazama C hubs because the blue are out of stock. While i wait for them to come i decided to get some 13 degree Eagle Racing c hubs for the time being as i needed to order one of their stealth mount kits for my other chassis as they are the ones i like. Buying a few items makes the shipping cost more worth while too, I usually try to steer clear of the eagle stuff as i'm not a huge fan of the quality and finish. Had a few small issues with the C hubs first off the suspension pins barely fitted through the hubs and second the mounting point for the steering knuckles was too wide for the Kazama knuckles, they fit perfectly with the Street Jam hubs.So what i ended up doing was slightly bending the C hub closed a little, they work fine now but its another reason to steer clear of the cheaper stuff,i guess you get what you pay for but hey will do until the other hubs arrive and they didn't cost much.

Zeon Adjustments

Went for a run at the local hobby shop today, Made some changes i fitted my RC926 springs and changed over to Yokomo silicone oils also removed the active setup from the front for now i didn't notice any real big advantage of having it i'll keep the set up and maybe try it again in the future.

Also fitted my Kazama rear lower arms and drive shafts, The arms are shorter and help me fit all my 7mm offset rims under my bodies.
I saw that tail slider do a brace for the zeon's steering wiper,When i saw it i thought the standard zeon wiper bridge would fit as im using their adjustable one on the car. It did so i'm using that as a brace now.
